Description

Broad Spectrum Injectable Sulfonamide

It is used in cattle for Treatment of:

  • Bacterial pneumonia and bovine respiratory disease complex (shipping fever complex) caused by Pasteurella spp.
  • Colibacillosis (bacterial scours) caused by Escherichia coli.
  • Necrotic pododermatitis (foot rot) and calf diphtheria caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum.
  • Acute metritis caused by Streptococcus spp.

Used in poultry for treatment of severe Coccidiosis, fowl cholera, E. Coli infection and salmonellosis.

Each 1 ml contains: – Sulfamethazine sodium: 250 mg.
Dosage

Cattle: I/V – 40 ml /50 kg.b.wt. Initial dose & 20 ml /50 kg.b.wt. Then daily for maximum period of 5 days, Poultry (severe Coccidiosis) – I/M – 1 ml / 10 kg Once then In D. water (100 – 200 gm oraclozine) + (100 gm vetamprolox)/ Ton body weight in Drinking water for 5 days
